Ostonim P Syrup 50 Ml

Ostonim P Syrup 50 Ml is used in patients aged 12 years and above for short-term relief of acute pain, inflammation and fever.

Uses of Ostonim P Syrup 50 Ml are:

• Acute Pain: Relieves short-term musculoskeletal, dental and menstrual pain.
• Fever and Inflammation: Reduces fever and inflammation when prescribed by a doctor.

This medicine must not be given to children under 12 years of age.

• Shake the bottle before use.
• Use the provided cup to measure your dose accurately.
• You can take this medicine with or without food.
• Always keep the bottle tightly capped after each use.
• Note that this medicine contains sugar, so if you have diabetes, consult your doctor before use.

Ostonim P Syrup 50 Ml is taken orally. 

Ostonim P Syrup 50 Ml contains the following component:

• Nimesulide (50 mg): It is an NSAID that inhibits enzymes responsible for inflammation. Thus, helps to control the swelling and redness. It also blocks pain signals, so you don't feel the ache as intensely. 
• Paracetamol/acetaminophen (125 Mg): Paracetamol works by inhibiting certain chemicals in the brain that are responsible for transmitting pain signals. It also helps to lower fever by acting on the hypothalamus (an area in the brain that regulates fever).

The storage instructions for Ostonim P Syrup 50 Ml are as follows:

• Ostonim P Syrup 50 Ml should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Avoid heavy exercise, which can worsen joint pain. Instead, strengthen your muscles by using gentle activities like stretching, low-impact aerobic exercises (e.g., walking, cycling, swimming), and light weightlifting.
• Include fatty fish like salmon, trout, tuna, and sardines in your diet. They are rich sources of omega-3 fatty acids, which can reduce inflammation by minimising the production of inflammatory chemicals.
• Pay attention to your sitting posture, especially with pain and inflammation. Try to limit prolonged sitting. Use back support like a rolled-up towel to maintain the natural curve of your spine.
