Noxagion 60 Injection 0.6ml is a single-ingredient anticoagulant medicine used to prevent and treat blood clots such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). It contains enoxaparin sodium, which belongs to the low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH) class of anticoagulants.
This medicine is also used to manage certain acute coronary syndromes, including unstable angina and heart attack, and to prevent blood clots in people at risk of venous thromboembolism. It is given as a subcutaneous injection, usually into the fatty tissue under the skin of the abdomen. The dose depends on the condition being treated, body weight and kidney function and should be given exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, a history of bleeding, stomach ulcers, uncontrolled high blood pressure, low platelet counts or have recently undergone surgery. Tell your doctor about all medicines, supplements and herbal products you are taking, particularly those that may increase the risk of bleeding. If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine. Report unusual or heavy bleeding to your doctor and do not stop treatment without medical advice.
