NEOSPORIN EYE DROPS 5ML is used for the treatment of:

• Bacterial conjunctivitis
• Keratitis
• Keratoconjunctivitis
• Blepharitis
• Blepharoconjunctivitis
• Superficial infections of the external eye and surrounding tissues caused by susceptible bacteria

• Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the bottle.
• Tilt your head slightly backward.
• Gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
• Instil the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye.
• Close the eye gently for one to two minutes.
• Avoid blinking excessively immediately after application.
• Do not allow the dropper tip to touch the eye or surrounding surfaces.
• Replace the cap immediately after use.

NEOSPORIN EYE DROPS 5ML is instilled topically into the eyes.

NEOSPORIN EYE DROPS 5ML contains the following ingredients:

• Gramicidin (0.025 mg): Gramicidin is a polypeptide antibacterial agent that disrupts bacterial cell membrane permeability. It increases membrane ion transport, leading to cell death, particularly in susceptible Gram-positive bacteria.
• Neomycin (3400 IU): Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibacterial that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit. This prevents bacterial growth and replication.
• Polymyxin B (500 IU): Polymyxin B is an antibacterial agent that damages the cell membrane of Gram-negative bacteria by interacting with phospholipids. This increases membrane permeability and leads to bacterial cell destruction.

• Store NEOSPORIN EYE DROPS 5ML below 25°C.
• Protect from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date mentioned on the packaging.
