Neorelax MR 8 Tablet is used to manage musculoskeletal pain in the back, neck, and shoulders. Neorelax MR 8 Tablet is a combination medication containing three active ingredients, paracetamol/acetaminophen, and thiocolchicoside:

• Thiocolchicoside (8 mg): As a muscle relaxant, thiocolchicoside acts centrally by inhibiting polysynaptic reflexes which are reflex actions involving multiple synapses in the spinal cord. It also has an analgesic effect and can reduce inflammation, thus helping to alleviate pain.
• Aceclofenac (100 mg): This non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug works by inhibiting enzymes called cyclooxygenases (COX), thereby reducing the production of substances called prostaglandins. These prostaglandins are usually responsible for causing pain and inflammation in the body. By blocking them, aceclofenac helps to reduce these symptoms.
• Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (325 mg): This is an analgesic and antipyretic that works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system and peripherally blocks pain impulse generation. Its anti-inflammatory effect is relatively weak.
