Neoctide 50 Mcg Injection 1 Ml is typically administered subcutaneously but may also be given intramuscularly or intravenously, depending on the clinical situation.

Neoctide 50 Mcg Injection 1 Ml contains octreotide (0.05 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Somatostatin mimicry: Octreotide is a synthetic version of somatostatin, a naturally occurring hormone in your body that regulates several other hormones.

• Growth hormone inhibition: It binds to somatostatin receptors in the pituitary gland, suppressing the release of excess growth hormone and thereby helping control acromegaly symptoms.
