Negox OZ Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Ofloxacin (200 mg): This antibiotic works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV enzymes. These enzymes are vital for bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair and recombination. By blocking these enzymes, ofloxacin prevents bacteria from reproducing and spreading the infection.

• Ornidazole (500 mg): This antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent gets converted into reduction products inside the body. These products interact with bacterial and protozoal DNA causing DNA damage, strand breakage and impairment of DNA replication. It is particularly effective against anaerobic bacteria and certain protozoa.
