CompositionNebilok H Tablet 10 is a medicine used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and stable chronic heart failure. Lowering high blood pressure helps decrease heart strain and reduces the risk of long-term events like heart attacks and strokes.
It contains nebivolol, which belongs to a group of medicines called beta-blockers. It works through a dual mechanism: it selectively slows down the heart rate to lower the heart's workload and stimulates the release of nitric oxide to relax and widen blood vessels, improving blood flow.
Take this tablet at a consistent time, with or without food, as directed by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medication abruptly, as sudden cessation can cause a rapid increase in heart rate or worsen your condition.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have asthma, a very slow resting heart rate, severe liver disease, or peripheral blood circulation problems. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
