Naprox 500 MG D Tablet 10

Naprox-D 500 Tablet is used to treat migraine symptoms such as headache, nausea, and vomiting. It combines naproxen, a pain reliever and anti-inflammatory, with domperidone, an antiemetic, to reduce pain and gastrointestinal discomfort. The tablet is also effective in managing pain and inflammation associated with arthritis, joint pain, backache, and muscle injuries, helping improve mobility and overall joint and muscle health.

To use Naprox-D 500 Tablet effectively:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.

• The medicine should be taken as directed by your doctor. Do not increase the dose on your own.

• If you forget to take your dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it's nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Don't double up your dose to make up for a missed one.

• Always consult your doctor before stopping this medicine.

Naprox-D 500 Tablet is taken orally.

Naprox-D 500 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Domperidone (10 mg): This antiemetic medication blocks dopamine receptors in your gut and brain. By doing so, it enhances the movement of your stomach and intestines, helping prevent feelings of nausea and vomiting. It also stimulates the release of prolactin which can increase breast milk production.

• Naproxen (500 mg): As a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), naproxen works by inhibiting the production of certain substances called prostaglandins that cause inflammation in your body. It specifically blocks an enzyme known as cyclooxygenase (COX) that plays a key role in making prostaglandins.

• Store Naprox-D 500 Tablet at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C.

• Keep the medicine container tightly closed to protect from light and moisture.

• Do not refrigerate or freeze the medicine.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Use Naprox-D 500 Tablet before the expiry date mentioned on the packaging.

• If you're using Naprox-D 500 Tablet for managing arthritis or other inflammatory conditions, consider implementing an anti-inflammatory diet. This includes foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, such as fish, and fruits and vegetables high in antioxidants.

• Regular low-impact exercises like walking, swimming, or cycling can help manage pain and stiffness associated with conditions like arthritis. However, avoid intense physical activities during a migraine attack as it might worsen your symptoms.
