Moncee Tablet 10

Moncee Tablet 10 is used to prevent and manage chronic asthma in adults and children over 1 year old. It helps avoid exercise-induced breathing problems in those 6 years and older. The tablet also relieves symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis in individuals aged 2 years and above, including nose allergies caused by specific seasons or year-round triggers.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• The medicine should be taken regularly, even during menstrual periods without symptoms, to get the most benefit.
• If you need to exercise, take one dose at least two hours before you start.
• Never alter your dose or stop taking this medicine without first consulting your doctor.

Moncee Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Moncee Tablet 10 contains montelukast (10 mg), which works on your body in the following ways:

• CysLT1 Receptor Inhibition: Montelukast selectively inhibits CysLT1 receptors, which are involved in producing substances that cause airway muscles to tighten and mucus and fluid to be produced in the lungs.
• Anti-inflammatory Effect: By blocking these CysLT1 receptors, montelukast reduces inflammation in the airways, thereby helping prevent asthma symptoms and allergic rhinitis.

It's important to note that montelukast is not a bronchodilator and does not provide immediate relief from acute asthma attacks.

• The ideal temperature for storage is 20-25°C.
• Protect the medicine from exposure to direct light and moisture.
• Always keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

• If you are taking Moncee Tablet 10 to manage asthma, then avoid exposure to allergens like dust and smoke that trigger asthma attacks.
• Regular aerobic exercise can improve lung function; however, take care to warm up slowly and cool down after to prevent exercise-induced bronchoconstriction.
