Microliv Forte Tablet is used for managing various liver-related health conditions, including chronic and acute hepatitis, liver damage due to alcohol consumption, fatty liver disease (where fat accumulates in the liver), and liver cirrhosis (a late stage of scarring caused by various liver diseases). It is also used to manage jaundice (a yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eyes), and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), a type of fatty liver disease not caused by alcohol use.

Here is how you should take Microliv Forte Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• It's important not to crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• The duration of usage depends on your condition and response to treatment.

Microliv Forte Tablet contains three active ingredients:

• L-ornithine L-aspartate (150 mg): This ingredient boosts levels of two amino acids, ornithine and aspartic acid. These amino acids play a critical role in reducing toxic ammonia in your blood, which can build up due to liver dysfunction, leading to hepatic encephalopathy.

• Metadoxine (500 mg): Acting as an antioxidant, metadoxine shields your liver from harm caused by free radicals. It enhances the clearance of alcohol from your body and assists in restoring normal liver cell function.

• Silymarin (140 mg): A flavonoid complex derived from milk thistle, silymarin demonstrates antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antifibrotic properties. It stabilises liver cell membranes, stimulates protein synthesis and promotes the regeneration of liver tissue.

• Store Microliv Forte Tablets at a cool room temperature, ideally below 25°C.
