Metro Gel 20 GM contains Metronidazole (1 %), which works in the following ways:

• It is an antimicrobial agent that undergoes chemical changes inside bacterial and protozoa cells, generating some compounds. These compounds interfere with DNA replication and damage the genetic material of the microorganisms. As a result, metronidazole is effective against bacteria and protozoa.
