CompositionMETOS CREAM 10 GM is a medicine used to manage inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, and allergic skin reactions in adults and children. It helps reduce redness, swelling, itching, and irritation in the affected areas.
It contains mometasone, a medium-potency topical corticosteroid. Apply a thin layer to the affected areas of skin only, as directed by your doctor. Avoid applying it to healthy skin, the face, or near the eyes unless specifically instructed. Do not use it for longer than the period advised. Prolonged use, especially on large areas, should be done under medical supervision.
Keep the affected skin clean and dry. Avoid covering treated skin with airtight bandages or dressings unless your doctor advises this, as this increases absorption and the risk of side effects. Wear loose, breathable clothing to avoid further irritation.
Before using this cream, tell your doctor if you have any skin infections, as corticosteroids should not be applied to infected skin. Long-term use may cause skin thinning, abnormal hair growth, or folliculitis; use only under medical supervision for extended periods.
