The Metoprol XL 25 Tablet may interact with the following medications, including

• Antihypertensive medications such as prazosin and clonidine can affect blood pressure when taken with this tablet.
• Antimigraine medications such as ergotamine can have increased effects when taken with this tablet.
• Antidepressants such as amitriptyline can have additive effects when taken with this tablet.
• Antiretroviral medications such as abacavir can cause toxicity when taken with this tablet.
• Antihistamines such as brompheniramine can cause increased side effects when taken with this tablet.
• Antiulcer medications, such as cimetidine, can increase the effect of this tablet.
• Antituberculosis medications such as rifampicin, can decrease the effect of this tablet.
• Antiarrhythmics such as amiodarone, digoxin, nitrates can cause toxicity when taken with this tablet.

Metoprol XL 25 Tablet can interact with conditions/diseases, including

• Asthma, bronchitis, or any similar lung disorder: This tablet can aggravate the disease.
• Diabetes: This tablet may fluctuate the blood sugar levels.
• Liver disease: This tablet can worsen the disease.
• Prinzmetal's angina: This tablet can cause complications in the disease.
• Psoriasis: This tablet may worsen psoriasis.

The daily dose of Metoprol XL 25 Tablet should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as age, severity of the condition, and response to treatment. 

In case of an accidental overdose of Metoprol XL 25 Tablet, seek immediate medical attention by contacting your doctor or visiting the nearest hospital. Signs of an overdose may include severe hypotension, sinus bradycardia, atrioventricular block, heart failure, cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, bronchospasm, impairment of consciousness/coma, nausea, vomiting, and cyanosis. 

If you miss a dose of Metoprol XL 25 Tablet, take it once you remember. However, avoid repeating the dose.
