Mesone Cream 30gm

Mesone Cream is used for the following conditions:

• Management of psoriasis: Psoriasis is a skin condition that causes red, flaky, crusty patches of skin covered with silvery scales.
• Control of eczema: Eczema is a condition that makes your skin red and itchy.
• Relief from itching and redness in insect bites: This includes mosquito bites, ant bites and bee stings.

Here's how you should apply Mesone Cream:

• Ensure the affected skin area is clean and dry before application. Use soap and water to cleanse the area and then pat dry it gently with a clean towel.
• Apply the cream on the affected area using your fingertip or a clean cotton swab. The amount of cream required will depend on the size of the affected area.
• Gently massage the cream into your skin until it gets absorbed completely.
• Remember to wash your hands after applying the cream to avoid spreading any potential infection.

Mesone Cream is applied topically.

Mesone Cream contains mometasone (0.1 %), which works on your body in the following ways:

• Anti-inflammatory Action: Mometasone exerts its anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting phospholipase A2. This enzyme is involved in producing substances in the body called prostaglandins and leukotrienes which cause inflammation. By inhibiting this enzyme, mometasone reduces these substances, thereby decreasing inflammation.
• Vasoconstrictive Action: Mometasone induces vasoconstriction or narrowing of blood vessels in the applied area. This action helps reduce redness and swelling associated with skin conditions.
• Immunosuppressive Action: Mometasone also works by suppressing the immune response in the applied area. It achieves this by reducing the activity of certain cells (T-lymphocytes) involved in immune responses that exacerbate skin inflammation.

The combined effect of these actions aids in managing skin conditions effectively.
