Mesanux 1200 Tablet 10

Mesanux 1200 Tablet is prescribed for:

• Induction of remission in patients with mild to moderate ulcerative colitis
• Maintenance of remission to prevent relapse in ulcerative colitis
• Reduction of symptoms like rectal bleeding, diarrhoea, and abdominal pain

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or split the tablet.
• Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Can be taken with or without food.
• Continue treatment as recommended by your doctor to prevent relapses.

Mesanux 1200 Tablet is taken orally.

Mesanux 1200 Tablet contains Mesalazine (1200 mg), which acts as follows:

• It acts locally in the colon to reduce inflammation. It inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory chemicals like prostaglandins and leukotrienes, thereby helping to control symptoms of ulcerative colitis and prevent flare-ups.

• Store at room temperature (15°C - 25°C).
• Keep in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
• Keep out of reach of children.

• Eat a low-fat, high-fiber diet to support gut health.
• Stay hydrated to prevent dehydration from diarrhea.
• Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and spicy foods that may irritate the gut.
• Engage in gentle exercise to support digestion.
• Manage stress through yoga, meditation, or relaxation techniques.
