Maxvoid S Tablet is used in treating symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) by relaxing the prostate and bladder muscles to improve urine flow. It combines silodosin, an alpha-blocker, with solifenacin, an antimuscarinic, and reduces urinary discomfort, urgency and difficulty starting urination.
Silodosin relaxes the muscles of the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to pass urine, while solifenacin relaxes the bladder wall muscle to reduce urgency and increase bladder capacity, together giving broader relief from urinary symptoms.
Take this tablet generally after the same meal each day, exactly as your doctor prescribes.
Tell your doctor if you are due for eye surgery, as silodosin can affect the eye's pupil response during cataract surgery. Tell your doctor if you have glaucoma or difficulty passing urine, as the solifenacin component needs caution in these conditions.
