CompositionMagnakof LS Syrup is used to relieve a productive (chesty) cough with thick, sticky phlegm, seen in conditions such as bronchitis and other airway diseases. It helps loosen and clear the mucus and opens up the airways, making breathing and coughing easier.
It contains ambroxol 30 mg, guaifenesin 50 mg and levosalbutamol 1 mg per 5 mL. These medicines thin and loosen mucus and relax the airway muscles. Take it as prescribed, measuring the dose carefully with the cap or spoon provided.
Drinking plenty of fluids helps thin the mucus further, and avoiding smoking and other irritants such as dust and smoke supports easier breathing alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any heart, thyroid, or stomach problems, and about other medicines you take, before starting this syrup. Report a fast or irregular heartbeat, marked tremor, or a cough that lasts more than a week or returns with a high temperature.
