Lupicef-O 200 Tablet interacts with the following medicines:

• Anticoagulants: Medicines like warfarin may interact with Lupicef-O 200 Tablet, resulting in an increased risk of bleeding. Careful monitoring of your blood clotting time is advised.

• Anti-epileptics: If you are taking carbamazepine, it can lower the effectiveness of Lupicef-O 200 Tablet by reducing its concentration in your blood.

• Live attenuated vaccines: Vaccines such as BCG, cholera and typhoid may not work as well if taken close to the dose of Lupicef-O 200 Tablet. It's best to take these vaccines at least three days before or two weeks after your treatment.

Food doesn't significantly impact the absorption of Lupicef-O 200 Tablet so that it can be taken with or without meals.

Lupicef-O 200 Tablet interacts with the following diseases:

• Gastrointestinal diseases: If you have a history of diseases like colitis, you should use Lupicef-O 200 Tablet cautiously, as it might increase your risk of getting an infection from Clostridium difficile bacteria.

• Kidney disease: If you have kidney problems, your doctor may need to adjust the dosage of Lupicef-O 200 Tablet for you.

• Phenylketonuria (PKU): If you have PKU, an inherited disorder that increases levels of a substance called phenylalanine in the blood, avoid chewable tablet formulations of Cefixime as they contain aspartame.

Your doctor will prescribe the daily dose of Lupicef-O 200 Tablet. This dosage may vary based on your health condition and how you respond to the medicine. Always follow your doctor's instructions and avoid adjusting the dosage without consulting them first.
