Lozilon 25 MG Tablet 10 is used to control high blood pressure and protect the heart and kidneys in adults.

Uses of Lozilon 25 MG Tablet 10 are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure in adults.
• Stroke Risk: Helps lower the risk of stroke in people with high blood pressure and an enlarged heart muscle (left ventricular hypertrophy).
• Kidney Protection: Helps protect the kidneys in people with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid breaking the tablet into pieces.
• You can take this medicine with or without food.
• Make sure to take the medicine at the same time each day to maintain consistent levels in your body.
• Don't stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

The active ingredient in Lozilon 25 MG Tablet 10 is losartan (25 mg). The action of this medicine on the body can be summarised as follows:

• Angiotensin II Blocker: Losartan works by blocking the action of a chemical in your body called angiotensin II. Normally, this chemical causes your blood vessels to narrow, increasing blood pressure.
• Vessel Relaxation: Losartan blocks angiotensin II, helping your blood vessels relax and widen. This makes it easier for your heart to pump blood throughout your body.
• Reduction in Heart Workload: Relaxed and widened blood vessels make the heart work less hard to pump blood, reducing blood pressure and straining the heart.

• Store Lozilon 25 MG Tablet 10 at room temperature, below 30°C.
• Avoid exposing the medication to direct light or moisture.
• Keep the medicine in the original packaging until it's time to take it.
• Ensure it is kept out of reach and sight of children.

• Avoid processed foods, canned soups, and salty snacks to limit salt consumption. Aim for less than 2,300 mg of sodium per day.
