Lodex 0.05% Drops 5ml

Lodex 0.05% Drops 5ml is used for:

• Management of steroid-responsive inflammatory eye conditions.
• Postoperative ocular inflammation, as advised by an ophthalmologist.
• Allergic or non-infective inflammatory conditions of the anterior segment after excluding infectious causes.

• Wash your hands thoroughly before using the drops and avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.
• Tilt your head back gently, pull the lower eyelid down, and instil the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye.
• Close the eye gently for a few minutes to allow proper absorption.
• If using multiple ophthalmic preparations, maintain an interval of at least five minutes between applications and apply ointments last.
• Do not use for longer than prescribed and discontinue if symptoms worsen or if no improvement occurs within the recommended duration.

Lodex 0.05% Drops 5ml is meant for topical ophthalmic use only.

Lodex 0.05% Drops 5ml contains the following active component:

• Dexamethasone (0.05%): It is a potent corticosteroid that suppresses inflammatory mediators, reduces immune responses, decreases capillary permeability, and controls swelling, redness, and irritation within ocular tissues.

• Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
• Protect from heat and direct sunlight.
• Do not touch the dropper tip to avoid contamination.
• Keep out of reach and sight of children.

• Maintain proper eye hygiene to prevent reinfection or irritation.
• Avoid rubbing or touching the affected eye.
• Follow medical advice regarding duration and monitoring of therapy.
• Avoid wearing contact lenses during active inflammation unless advised by your doctor, as preservatives may irritate the eye.
