Low Dex Eye Drops 5ml are used to reduce inflammation in the eye where there is also a risk of bacterial contamination, such as after eye surgery or injury. They help ease redness, swelling and discomfort caused by eye inflammation. It contains dexamethasone.
They belong to a group of eye medicines that combine a corticosteroid with an antibacterial ingredient. Put the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye as directed by your doctor. Use them for the full course advised, even if your symptoms improve early.
Wash your hands before use, avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye, and do not wear contact lenses while using these drops unless your doctor says it is fine.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor about any other eye conditions, viral or fungal eye infections, or other medicines you use. It is not meant for long-term, unsupervised use. Report worsening redness, pain or any change in vision to your doctor immediately.
