Levopulmin Inhaler is a combination bronchodilator medicine used to manage bronchospasm associated with obstructive airway diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. It contains ipratropium and levosalbutamol, which belong to the short-acting antimuscarinic and short-acting beta-2 agonist classes, respectively.
This medicine helps relieve airway narrowing and symptoms such as wheezing, chest tightness, cough and breathlessness. It is inhaled through a metered-dose inhaler and should be used exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not increase the number of puffs on your own if your breathing does not improve.
Before using this medicine, inform your doctor if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, glaucoma, an enlarged prostate or bladder problems. Tell your doctor about all medicines, including other inhalers and eye drops, supplements and herbal products you are taking. If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine. Follow the prescribed dose and do not stop or increase the medicine without your doctor's advice.
