• Interferes with Parasite Digestion: Chloroquine accumulates in the digestive vacuole of the malaria parasite, disrupting its ability to break down haemoglobin effectively.

• Inhibits Heme Polymerisation: By interrupting the process of heme polymerisation, a key step in the digestion of haemoglobin by the parasite, chloroquine causes toxic free heme to build up.

• Kills the Parasite: The accumulation of toxic free heme ultimately proves lethal for the parasite, resulting in its death and thereby helping manage malarial infection in the body.

• Store Lariago 160 mg Syrup at room temperature, ideally between 15-30°C.
