Cefalexin (500 Mg)

500 MG 250 MG

Keflex 500 Capsule is an antibiotic used to treat susceptible bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, ear, throat, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues.

It contains cefalexin, a cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by damaging the protective wall of susceptible bacteria, which helps clear the infection.

Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor and complete the full course.

Tell your doctor if you have an allergy to penicillins or cephalosporins, kidney problems, or severe or persistent loose motions (diarrhoea).

Keflex 500 Capsule is used to treat susceptible bacterial infections.

Uses of Keflex 500 Capsule are:

Respiratory and Ear Infections: Treats bacterial infections of the throat, airways and middle ear.
Urinary Tract Infections: Helps clear susceptible bacterial infections of the urinary tract.
Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: Treats bacterial infections affecting the skin and nearby tissues.

Swallow the capsule whole with plenty of water
You can take this medicine with or without food
Keep a regular schedule and take the medicine at the same time each day
Do not crush or chew the capsules
Continue taking this medicine for the full duration advised by your doctor

Kills Bacteria: The inhibition of peptidoglycan synthesis leads to the breakdown of bacterial cell walls, causing the bacterial cells to rupture and die. This stops the infection from spreading further.
