Jumbo 100/500mg Tablet is used for pain from headaches and migraines, toothache and dental procedures, musculoskeletal pain, painful menstruation, post-operative pain, and fever caused by infections.

Uses of Jumbo 100/500mg Tablet are:

• Acute Pain: Relieves headaches, toothache and musculoskeletal pain such as osteoarthritis.
• Menstrual Pain: Eases painful periods (dysmenorrhoea).
• Fever: Reduces high body temperature caused by infections.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet, as it may impact its effectiveness.
• It is recommended to take this medicine with food or milk to prevent any gastric discomfort.

Jumbo 100/500 Mg Tablet 10 contains two active components which work together:

• Nimesulide (100 mg): This component is a selective COX-2 inhibitor. It works by reducing inflammation and pain through inhibiting an enzyme named cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). This enzyme produces prostaglandins, chemicals that cause inflammation in the body. By inhibiting COX-2 selectively, nimesulide relieves pain and inflammation with fewer gastrointestinal side effects.
• Paracetamol (500 mg): Known for its analgesic and antipyretic properties, paracetamol helps relieve pain and reduce fever. It inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system (CNS). Additionally, it appears to act on the serotonergic pathways that regulate body temperature.
