It is a single-ingredient medicine containing isotretinoin, from the retinoid class, derived from vitamin A.
This tablet also reduces the production of sebum, a natural oily substance produced by the skin that can clog pores and trigger acne breakouts. By lowering sebum production, the tablet creates an environment less conducive to the growth of acne-causing bacteria. This not only clears existing acne but also helps prevent the formation of new lesions.
