Isoder 10 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Prevention of angina attacks

• Management of coronary artery disease

• Treatment after heart attack

• Long-term care of coronary heart disease

• Management of pulmonary hypertension

• Relief of chest pain due to poor heart blood flow

• Prevention of cardiac strain

• Improving blood circulation to heart muscles

Follow these instructions while taking Isoder 10 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Try to take it at the same time each day.

• Keep a gap of 7 hours between two doses if prescribed twice daily.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly, even if you feel better.

• Consult your doctor if you have questions about using this medicine.

Isoder 10 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Isoder 10 Tablet 10 contains Isosorbide mononitrate (10 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Blood vessel relaxation: Isosorbide mononitrate helps relax and widen the blood vessels, especially those around the heart, improving blood flow to the cardiac muscles.

• Nitric oxide production: The medicine produces nitric oxide, a substance that helps the smooth muscles in blood vessel walls to relax and dilate.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Heart-healthy diet: Reduce saturated fats and increase fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to improve coronary artery health and complement the blood vessel-widening effects of isosorbide mononitrate.

• Regular, moderate exercise: Engage in gentle physical activities like walking for 20-30 minutes daily to strengthen your heart muscle and improve circulation, which helps manage angina symptoms.
