Nitrofirst 10 Mg Tablet is a long-acting nitrate used to prevent chest pain caused by angina. It widens blood vessels, reduces the heart's workload, and improves blood flow to the heart muscle.
Take it regularly exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It is intended to prevent angina and should not be used to relieve a sudden angina attack. Use the fast-acting medicine prescribed for sudden chest pain and seek urgent help if the pain does not improve.
Rise slowly from sitting or lying down and limit alcohol to reduce the chance of dizziness or a sudden fall in blood pressure.
Tell your doctor about all other medicines you use. Do not take it with medicines for erectile dysfunction because the combination can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure. Report severe dizziness, fainting, or worsening chest pain promptly.
