Inmecin 25 Capsule is used for managing rheumatoid arthritis, relieving osteoarthritis pain and inflammation, treating ankylosing spondylitis, and managing acute gout attacks.

Uses of Inmecin 25 Capsule 10 are:

• Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis: Relieves pain, tenderness, swelling and stiffness in these joint conditions.
• Ankylosing Spondylitis: Treats pain and stiffness caused by ankylosing spondylitis.
• Acute Gout: Manages pain, swelling and inflammation during a gout attack.

Follow these instructions while taking Inmecin 25 Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water.
• Do not open, crush, or chew the capsule.
• If you have trouble swallowing capsules, consult your doctor for alternatives.
• Complete the full course of treatment as prescribed by your doctor.

Inmecin 25 Capsule is taken orally.

Inmecin 25 Capsule contains indomethacin (25 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Cyclooxygenase (COX) enzyme inhibition: Indomethacin blocks specific enzymes called cyclooxygenase enzymes in your body, which are responsible for producing substances that cause pain and inflammation.
• Prostaglandin reduction: By inhibiting the COX enzymes, indomethacin decreases the production of prostaglandins, which are hormone-like substances that cause inflammation, pain, and fever at sites of injury or damage.
• Anti-inflammatory action: Through the reduction of prostaglandins, indomethacin helps to reduce swelling, redness, and warmth in affected joints and tissues.
• Pain relief: The medicine works by blocking pain signals that would normally be triggered by prostaglandins, providing relief from moderate pain associated with various conditions.

• Store Inmecin 25 Capsule at room temperature (15-30°C).
• Keep the medicine in its original packaging, away from direct light and moisture.
• Store in a dry place, as moisture may damage the capsules.
• Always keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.
• Check the expiry date on the package and do not use it after this date.

• Anti-inflammatory diet: Include foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids (such as fatty fish) and antioxidants (like colourful fruits and vegetables) to help reduce inflammation in joints and muscles alongside your medicine.
