Iban Plus Tablet 1 helps treat and prevent osteoporosis. It strengthens bones by slowing bone loss, reducing fracture risk, and improving bone density, making it a key treatment for individuals with osteoporosis.

Follow these instructions while taking Iban Plus Tablet 1:

• Take the tablet with a full glass of plain water.

• Swallow the tablet whole without crushing, chewing or dissolving it in your mouth.

• Remain upright (sitting or standing) for at least one hour after taking the medicine.

• Do not eat or drink anything except water for at least 60 minutes after taking the tablet.

• Take this medicine on the same date each month as prescribed by your doctor.

• Consult your doctor if you have trouble following these directions.

Iban Plus Tablet 1 is taken orally.

Iban Plus Tablet 1 contains ibandronic acid (150 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Inhibits osteoclast activity: Ibandronic acid works by stopping the action of osteoclasts, which are cells that break down bone tissue. By suppressing these cells, it prevents abnormal bone breakdown.

• Restores bone balance: This medicine helps restore the balance between bone formation and bone resorption (breakdown), allowing bones to maintain their strength and density.

• Increases bone mass: By preventing further bone loss, ibandronic acid allows for a gradual increase in bone mass over time, helping strengthen weakened bones.

• Reduces fracture risk: Through its bone-strengthening actions, the medicine significantly reduces the risk of osteoporotic fractures, particularly in the spine and hip regions.

Iban Plus Tablet 1 must be stored as instructed below to maintain its efficacy:

• Store Iban Plus Tablet 1 at temperatures below 25°C.

• Store the medication in its original pack.

• Keep away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.

• Store safely out of reach of children and pets.

• Check the expiry date on the package and do not use it after this date.

• Consume calcium-rich foods (like dairy products, leafy greens, and fortified foods) and vitamin D sources (like egg yolks and fatty fish) to support bone health alongside your Iban Plus Tablet 1 treatment.

• Engage in regular weight-bearing exercises such as walking, dancing, or gentle resistance training to help strengthen bones and reduce osteoporosis progression.
