Gudgesic Plus Tablet 10

Gudgesic-Plus Tablet is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, low back pain, ankylosing spondylitis, dental pain, headaches, migraines, menstrual cramps, and post-operative or injury-related pain.

Here's how you should take Gudgesic-Plus Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose unless advised by your doctor.

• It's important not to stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Gudgesic-Plus Tablet is taken orally.

Gudgesic-Plus Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Aceclofenac (100 mg): This NSAID works by selectively inhibiting an enzyme in your body called cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). COX-2 is responsible for producing prostaglandins - substances that cause inflammation, pain, and fever. By reducing prostaglandin production, aceclofenac helps manage these symptoms.

• Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (325 mg): This is an analgesic and antipyretic agent which means it helps manage pain and reduce fever. While it's not entirely clear how paracetamol works, it is thought to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system and modulate pain and fever signalling pathways. It also has weak anti-inflammatory effects.

The combination of aceclofenac and paracetamol in Gudgesic-Plus Tablet provides enhanced relief from pain and inflammation compared to either component taken alone.

• Keep your Gudgesic-Plus Tablet stored at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Ensure it's stored out of reach of children for safety.
