Composition

Gliclazide (80 Mg) + Metformin (500 Mg)

Glycure M Tablet 10 is used to regulate blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It belongs to the anti-diabetic class of medicines and works effectively when combined with a healthy diet and regular physical activity to maintain stable glucose levels.

This medicine is not intended for type 1 diabetes, where insulin production is severely reduced or absent. Before starting the tablet, inform your doctor about any allergies, medical history, or ongoing treatments. Glycure M Tablet 10 is used in the management of:

Type 2 diabetes

Swallow Glycure M Tablet 10 whole with a glass of water
Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the absorption of Glycure M Tablet 10 in the body
Take Glycure M Tablet 10 at a fixed time every day. This will maintain the levels of medication in the blood.

Glycure M Tablet 10 should be taken orally.

Severe kidney impairment: This tablet is excreted via the kidney. If you have reduced kidney function, your doctor may need to adjust the dosage of this tablet.
Liver disease: This tablet may cause abnormal liver function tests or liver disease such as hepatitis.
Lactic acidosis: This tablet may cause lactic acidosis as a side effect and worsen the existing condition.
