• Fludon 150 MG Tablet 1 is used to treat fungal infections affecting the mouth, throat, vagina, skin, nails, ears, and genitals. It works by damaging the fungal cell membrane, stopping its growth, and preventing the infection from spreading, making it effective against various fungal and yeast infections.

To take Fludon 150 MG Tablet 1 properly, follow these instructions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• It can be taken with or without food.
• It's crucial not to stop taking the medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Fludon 150 MG Tablet 1 contains fluconazole (150 mg), which acts on your body in the following ways:

• Cytochrome P450 enzyme inhibition: Fluconazole works by inhibiting an enzyme in fungi called cytochrome P450 14α-demethylase. This enzyme is responsible for converting lanosterol to ergosterol.
• Disruption of fungal cell membrane: Fluconazole disrupts the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of the fungal cell membrane, by inhibiting the conversion of lanosterol to ergosterol.
• Inhibition of fungal growth: This action causes an increase in the permeability of the fungal cell membrane, leading to a loss of essential cellular components and thus inhibiting fungal growth.

• Store Fludon 150 MG Tablet 1 at room temperature, in a cool, dry place.
• Avoid exposure to excess heat, moisture, and direct sunlight.
• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.
• Make sure to use the tablet before its expiration date.

• For vaginal yeast infections managed by Fludon 150 MG Tablet 1, consider wearing cotton underwear. Also, avoid tight-fitting clothes to prevent the growth of yeast organisms.
• If you are taking Fludon 150 MG Tablet 1 for oral thrush, try to limit sugary foods and drinks in your diet, as sugar can encourage the growth of Candida yeast.
