Flavoride Tablet 10

Flavoride Tablet 10 is used to manage dysuria (painful urination), urgency (sudden urge to urinate), nocturia (frequent nighttime urination), suprapubic pain, and regulate frequent urination and incontinence caused by cystitis and prostatitis. It also eases urethritis and vesicourethral spasms after medical procedures.

Here's how you should take Flavoride Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• You can take it with or without food. If you experience stomach upset, have it with meals.
• Avoid antacids containing magnesium and aluminium within two hours of taking this medicine.

Flavoride Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Flavoride Tablet 10 contains flavoxate (200 mg), which works on your body in the following ways:

• Bladder Smooth Muscle Relaxation: Flavoxate works by directly relaxing the smooth muscles of your bladder and urinary tract. This effect helps to alleviate spasms and discomfort caused by certain medical conditions.
• Increased Bladder Capacity: Flavoxate effectively increases bladder capacity by moderating the spasms of the urinary tract and detrusor muscle. This action can reduce urinary urgency and frequency.
• Reduction in Incontinence Episodes: Flavoxate's spasmolytic action on the urinary tract muscles can decrease incontinence episodes, relieving this bothersome symptom.

• Keep Flavoride Tablet 10 at room temperature.
• Avoid exposing the medicine to extreme light and moisture.
• Do not store this medicine in your bathroom.
• Ensure it is stored out of reach of children.
• Always check the expiry date before using Flavoride Tablet 10.

• If you have urinary tract issues, consume a diet rich in fibre to prevent constipation, which can aggravate your symptoms. Incorporate whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and pulses into your meals.
• It’s beneficial to maintain a good hydration level. Aim for six to eight glasses of water daily. However, if your doctor has advised you to limit fluid intake due to certain medical conditions, follow that advice.
