CompositionFIMIAL DC TABLET 10 is used to treat a range of bacterial infections affecting the respiratory tract, skin, soft tissues and urinary system, including cystitis and kidney infections. It works against the bacteria causing the infection, helping symptoms resolve.
It contains cefixime and dicloxacillin, which are antibiotics that work by preventing bacterial cell wall synthesis. Take the tablet as prescribed, with or without food. Complete the entire course even if you start to feel better before it finishes, as stopping early can allow the infection to return and contribute to antibiotic resistance.
Drinking plenty of water and getting adequate rest can support recovery while taking this medicine. Avoid skipping doses, as irregular use reduces its effectiveness against the infection.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have any known allergies to antibiotics, kidney or liver problems, or are taking other medicines. Contact your doctor if you develop severe diarrhoea, a skin rash, or signs of an allergic reaction such as swelling or difficulty breathing.
