CompositionEmbolus Et 250/250 Mg Tablet 10 is a medicine used to manage heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia) and dysfunctional uterine bleeding. It helps reduce excessive blood loss, thereby preventing tiredness, weakness, and anaemia associated with heavy periods.
It contains tranexamic acid and ethamsylate, which work together to strengthen blood vessels and promote normal blood clotting during heavy bleeding. Take it as prescribed by your doctor during heavy bleeding days. Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food.
During periods of heavy flow, maintain adequate fluid intake and eat iron-rich foods (such as green leafy vegetables) to help maintain optimal blood levels and reduce fatigue.
Tell your doctor before taking this medicine if you have a history of blood clots, kidney problems, or severe blood vessel disorders. It is not intended for regular use throughout the entire menstrual cycle unless advised by your doctor.
