CompositionEldervit-12 Injection is a multivitamin preparation containing folic acid, vitamin B12, nicotinamide, and vitamin C. It supports the making of new blood cells, a healthy nervous system, and the growth and repair of body tissues.
It is used mainly to treat vitamin deficiencies and the problems they cause, such as certain types of anaemia. It is given as an injection into a muscle, a vein, or under the skin by a doctor or nurse, who will decide the dose and how often it is given.
A balanced diet supports treatment. Eating foods rich in the relevant vitamins, such as green vegetables, dairy, and citrus fruit, helps maintain healthy levels once the deficiency is corrected.
