Edycold Tablet 10

Edycold Tablet 10 is used for temporary relief of common cold and hay fever symptoms, including a runny nose, sneezing and an itchy throat caused by upper respiratory allergies.

Uses of Edycold Tablet 10 are:

• Common Cold: Eases symptoms associated with the common cold.
• Runny Nose: Helps manage a runny nose caused by hay fever.
• Sneezing: Reduces sneezing due to upper respiratory allergies.
• Itchy Throat: Relieves an itchy throat caused by the common cold or allergies.

Take Edycold Tablet 10 as follows:

• Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.
• Always take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
• Do not change your dose or stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Edycold Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Edycold Tablet 10 is a combination medicine that works in the following ways:

• Caffeine (30 Mg): Caffeine is a stimulant that enhances the effect of Paracetamol/Acetaminophen. It boosts alertness and reduces fatigue by stimulating the central nervous system.
• Diphenhydramine (25 Mg): Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine. It helps alleviate allergy symptoms like a runny nose, sneezing, and itching by preventing histamine from binding to its receptors.
• Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (325 Mg): Paracetamol/Acetaminophen is an analgesic and antipyretic. It reduces pain and fever by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins in the central nervous system.
• Phenylephrine (5 mg): Phenylephrine is a decongestant. It reduces swelling and congestion by narrowing the blood vessels in the nasal passages.

• Store Edycold Tablet 10 in a cool, dry place, ideally below 30°C.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed and avoid exposure to direct sunlight or excessive moisture.
• Always remember to keep this medication out of reach from children.

• Maintain good hydration by drinking plenty of fluids. This can help to thin mucus, easing congestion and coughing.
• Avoid exposure to allergens or irritants such as pollen, dust, or smoke which can trigger allergies and worsen symptoms.
