This enzyme is responsible for the degradation of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), a compound found inside cells. By inhibiting the PDE4 enzyme, drotaverine increases cAMP levels, leading to the relaxation of smooth muscles in the gut and other internal organs, helping relieve cramps, spasms, and colic.

• Mefenamic acid (250 mg): Mefenamic acid works by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzyme, responsible for producing prostaglandins (chemical substances that cause pain, inflammation, and fever). By blocking prostaglandin synthesis, mefenamic acid provides pain relief.
