Treatment of heart failure as an adjunct to standard therapy.
Improving symptoms and quality of life in heart failure patients.
Reducing hospitalisations due to heart failure and improving survival in specific patient groups (particularly in patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction or those unable to tolerate ACE inhibitors or ARBs).

Follow these instructions while taking Dralazent Plus Tablet 10:

Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.
Take this medicine at the same time each day.
Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better.

Dralazent Plus Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Dralazent Plus Tablet 10 may cause the following common side effects:

Headache
Dizziness
Low blood pressure (feeling light-headed)
Fast heartbeat
Flushing (warmth or redness of face)
Nausea
Weakness or fatigue

Management Of Side Effects:

Drug-Drug Interactions

Dralazent Plus Tablet 10 may interact with the following medicines:

Other antihypertensive medicines (such as ACE inhibitors, beta-blockers, diuretics, or calcium channel blockers): Taking these medicines together, the blood pressure–lowering effect may become too strong, which can increase the risk of dizziness, fainting, weakness, or falls. Your doctor may adjust the dose and monitor your blood pressure more closely if needed.
Antipsychotic medicines like Amisulpride: These medicines can affect the electrical rhythm of the heart (QT prolongation risk). Since Dralazent Plus Tablet 10 can also lower blood pressure, using both together may increase the risk of dizziness, fainting, or heart rhythm disturbances due to additive cardiovascular effects.. Monitoring of ECG and blood pressure may be required.
Antidepressants: Medicines like Amitriptyline can lower blood pressure and have sedative effects. When taken with Dralazent Plus Tablet 10, there may be an excessive drop in blood pressure, leading to light-headedness, weakness, and dizziness when standing up (postural hypotension). Dose adjustment may be needed.
Medicines for erectile dysfunction (such as sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil): Taking them together can cause a sudden drop in blood pressure and should be avoided.

Dralazent Plus Tablet 10 can interact with the following diseases:

Hypotension (low blood pressure): Dralazent Plus Tablet 10 lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels. In patients who already have low blood pressure, this can lead to an excessive drop in blood pressure, causing symptoms such as dizziness, fainting, blurred vision, and weakness. Careful blood pressure monitoring is required, and dose adjustment may be necessary.

Over Dose

Taking more than the prescribed dose may cause severe dizziness, fainting, very low blood pressure, or irregular heartbeat. Seek immediate medical help in case of overdose.
