Dotaver A Tablet 10 is used to treat severe stomach pain, menstrual cramps, and intestinal spasms. It combines a pain reliever and muscle relaxant to reduce pain and relax muscles, giving fast relief from discomfort. This is achieved by blocking an enzyme called phosphodiesterase-IV which usually breaks down cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). Increasing cAMP levels helps relax these smooth muscles and relieves spasms, effectively decreasing abdominal pain and cramps.
• Aceclofenac (100 mg): This NSAID acts by blocking the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, especially COX-2. By doing so, it reduces the production of prostaglandins, body chemicals that cause pain, inflammation, and fever. As a result, aceclofenac provides analgesic (pain-relieving) and anti-inflammatory effects.
