Doprost T Eye Drops 3 ML

Doprost T Eye Drops 3 ML is used for:

• Lowering intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma
• Reducing high eye pressure in ocular hypertension to prevent optic nerve damage and vision loss

• Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
• Tilt your head slightly back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket.
• Hold the dropper above the eye without touching your eye or eyelashes.
• Instil one drop into the affected eye(s).
• Close your eye for 1–2 minutes. Press gently on the inner corner of the eye (near the nose) to prevent the medicine from draining away.
• If using other eye medications, wait at least 5 minutes between applications.
• Remove contact lenses before use and reinsert 15 minutes later.

Doprost T Eye Drops 3 ML is for topical ophthalmic use only. 

Doprost T Eye Drops 3 ML contains two active ingredients:

• Travoprost (0.004%): A prostaglandin F2α analogue that selectively binds to FP prostanoid receptors, enhancing aqueous humour outflow through the uveoscleral pathway, thereby reducing eye pressure.
• Benzalkonium Chloride (0.02%): A preservative with antimicrobial properties that prevents bacterial or fungal contamination of the solution by disrupting microbial cell membranes.

• Store  Doprost T Eye Drops 3 ML at 15°C–30°C in a dry place.
• Protect from light and moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Discard the bottle 4 weeks after opening, even if some solution remains.
• Do not use after expiry date printed on the packaging.

• Maintain a nutrient-rich diet with vitamin A, C, E, zinc, and omega-3 fatty acids (found in carrots, leafy greens, citrus fruits, nuts, and fish).
• Engage in regular physical activity such as yoga or walking to improve blood circulation.
• Avoid smoking, which can worsen eye conditions and glaucoma.
• Wear UV-protective sunglasses outdoors.
• Limit caffeine intake to help control IOP.
• Follow a regular eye exam schedule as advised by your ophthalmologist.
