Digon 0.25 Tablet is used to manage heart failure and control heart rate in atrial fibrillation, a condition causing irregular heartbeat. It contains digoxin, a cardiac glycoside medicine.
Do not change your dose or stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.
Eat a well-balanced diet and ensure adequate potassium intake as advised by your healthcare professional. Avoid taking antacids or high-fibre foods at the exact same time as this medicine, as they may reduce its absorption.
Tell your doctor if you have severe heart rhythm disorders, kidney disease, thyroid problems or electrolyte imbalances before starting treatment. Inform your healthcare professional about all other medicines you take. Report warning symptoms such as severe nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, blurred or yellow-tinted vision, or a very slow or irregular heartbeat immediately.
