Dauneon 20 MG Injection contains daunorubicin (20 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• DNA intercalation: Daunorubicin inserts itself between DNA base pairs, disrupting the double helix structure of DNA. This prevents proper DNA replication, which is essential for cell division and survival.

• Free radical generation: The medicine produces harmful substances called free radicals that damage various components within cancer cells. Because cancer cells divide more rapidly than normal cells, they are particularly vulnerable to this damage.

• Topoisomerase II inhibition: Daunorubicin specifically targets an enzyme called topoisomerase II, which is necessary for DNA repair. By blocking this enzyme, the medicine prevents cancer cells from repairing DNA damage, ultimately leading to cell death.
