Cremaffin Mint Flavour Emulsion is used for supporting the overall digestive system by managing constipation. It contains two stool softeners, magnesium hydroxide (milk of magnesia), which works as an osmotic laxative, and liquid paraffin, which acts as a lubricant. These ingredients help bowel movements easier and relieve discomfort caused by hard stools.

• Magnesium Hydroxide (Milk of Magnesia): Magnesium Hydroxide helps in drawing water into the intestines, softening stools, and making them easier to pass. It helps in relieving constipation by increasing bowel movement frequency. It works as an osmotic laxative by drawing water into the intestines and may assist in softening stools, making them easier to pass.
   
• Liquid Paraffin: It acts as a lubricant, which may help reduce stools from becoming dry and hard by maintaining their moisture content. It forms a protective coating around stools, allowing smooth passage through the intestines. • For adults and children over 12 years, take ½ to 1 tablespoonful.
• For children between 5 to 12 years, take 1–2 teaspoonfuls.
• For children between 3 to 5 years, take ½ to 1 teaspoonful.
• Cremalfin is best taken at bedtime, preferably with water and if necessary, again in the morning or as advised by the physician.
• There is no need for dosage reduction in the elderly.
