Softylax Plus 3.75/11.25 ML Liquid is used for managing occasional constipation. It combines an osmotic and a lubricant mechanism in a single formulation. It contains Liquid Paraffin (3.75 ml), which helps manage stool consistency by coating the intestinal walls and entrapping water in the faecal mass, and Magnesium Hydroxide (11.25 ml), which allows for the management of bowel movements by drawing fluid into the colon through osmosis. This dual-action approach softens stools and stimulates peristalsis, making passage more straightforward and comfortable. The mint-flavoured syrup is ideal for individuals who have difficulty swallowing tablets, and its bedtime dosing supports natural bowel rhythm for morning relief. 

• Liquid Paraffin (3.75 ml): Liquid paraffin helps manage stool softness by forming a thin, lubricating layer along the intestinal lining. This layer entrains water within the faecal bolus, making stools more pliable and easing their passage through the colon without systemic absorption.
