CompositionCOSCORIL Oral Drops are used to help manage productive cough (cough with mucus) in infants and young children with chest infections or bronchitis, where thick mucus makes it hard to cough and breathe comfortably. It contains ambroxol.
This medicine works as a mucolytic, thinning and loosening thick mucus in the airways, which makes it easier for your child to clear it by coughing and helps ease breathing discomfort.
Give the drops to your child using the dropper provided, at the dose your doctor prescribes based on age and weight, with or without food.
Tell your doctor if your child's cough persists for more than a week, is accompanied by high fever, or your child appears to be struggling to breathe, as this needs urgent medical review.
