Cortibrook Suspension 30ml is used to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy and other inflammatory or autoimmune conditions.

Uses of Cortibrook Suspension 30ml are:

• Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy: Helps maintain muscle strength in this condition.
• Autoimmune and Joint Diseases: Helps with lupus, autoimmune hepatitis, sarcoidosis and rheumatoid arthritis.
• Allergies, Asthma and Cancer: Used for severe allergies, asthma and certain cancers.

Take Cortibrook Suspension 30ml in the following way or as your doctor prescribes:

• Shake the bottle well before each dose
• Use a measuring cup to take it by mouth.
• This suspension can be taken with or without food, though it’s best to take it at the same time each day.

Cortibrook Suspension 30ml should be taken orally.

Cortibrook Suspension 30ml contains the following component:

• Deflazacort (6 mg): This corticosteroid is converted in the body to its active form, where it binds to receptors to provide anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects. Its anti-inflammatory action works by blocking specific chemicals that trigger inflammation, while the immunosuppressive effect lowers the immune system’s sensitivity.

• Store this medicine at room temperature (25ºC).
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep this suspension away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Eat veggies, fruits, whole grains, legumes, omega-3 foods, and lean proteins for a healthy diet.
• Chronic stress can raise blood pressure; manage it by spending time with loved ones and practising mindfulness.
• Cut back on alcohol consumption.
