CompositionCapricort 8 Mg Tablet 10 is a corticosteroid used to reduce inflammation and calm an overactive immune system in a wide range of conditions, including severe arthritis, asthma and COPD flare-ups, severe allergies, and conditions of the skin, eyes, blood, bowel and nervous system.
It contains methylprednisolone, a corticosteroid. It works by reducing inflammation and calming the immune response.
Take it exactly as prescribed, usually with food or milk. Do not stop it suddenly after longer use, as the dose usually needs to be reduced gradually.
Tell your doctor about any infection, diabetes, high blood pressure, stomach ulcers or mental health concerns before use. Avoid contact with people who have chickenpox or measles if you have not had them. Long-term use can affect blood sugar, bone strength and blood pressure.
