CAPAGIN Tablet 10 may interact with the following medicines:

• Antihypertensive medicines (e.g., amlodipine, atenolol): Phenylephrine may reduce the blood pressure-lowering effect of these medicines and may increase blood pressure or heart rate in some individuals. Monitoring may be required.
• Antidiabetic medicines (e.g., insulin, metformin): Phenylephrine may affect blood glucose control in some patients. Regular blood sugar monitoring may be advised during treatment.
• Antitubercular medicines (e.g., rifampicin, isoniazid): These medicines may increase the metabolism of paracetamol and raise the risk of liver-related side effects, especially during prolonged use. Caution is advised during combined use.
• Antiepileptic medicines (e.g., phenytoin, carbamazepine): These medicines may increase paracetamol metabolism and increase the risk of liver toxicity. Caution and periodic monitoring may be advised during treatment.
• Sedative and sleeping medicines (e.g., diazepam, alprazolam, zolpidem): Taking these medicines together with diphenhydramine may increase drowsiness, dizziness, and reduced alertness. Dose adjustment or careful monitoring may be required.
• Monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) medicines (e.g., phenelzine, selegiline): Taking these medicines with phenylephrine may cause severe elevation of blood pressure, headache, or serious cardiovascular side effects. Concurrent use is generally avoided.
• Other paracetamol-containing medicines (e.g., cold and flu combinations, pain-relief medicines): Taking multiple paracetamol-containing products together may increase the risk of serious liver damage due to overdose. Avoid taking duplicate paracetamol-containing medicines unless advised by your doctor.

CAPAGIN Tablet 10 may interact with the following:

• Caffeine-containing drinks (e.g., coffee, tea, cola, energy drinks): Taking excessive caffeine along with this medicine may increase restlessness, nervousness, difficulty sleeping, or palpitations. Limit intake of caffeine-containing drinks while taking this medicine. 

CAPAGIN Tablet 10 should be used with caution if you have:

• High blood pressure or heart disease: Phenylephrine may increase blood pressure or heart rate and may worsen certain heart conditions. Blood pressure and cardiac monitoring may be advised in susceptible individuals.
• Glaucoma: Diphenhydramine may increase eye pressure and worsen symptoms in patients with angle-closure glaucoma. Cautious use or alternative treatment may be considered.
• Enlarged prostate or urinary retention: Diphenhydramine may worsen difficulty in passing urine in some individuals. Monitoring of urinary symptoms may be required during treatment.
• Hyperthyroidism: Phenylephrine may worsen symptoms such as rapid heartbeat, nervousness, or elevated blood pressure in patients with overactive thyroid disorders. Careful monitoring may be advised during treatment.

The daily dose of CAPAGIN Tablet 10 should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage and duration of treatment may vary depending on the severity of symptoms, age, and overall health condition. Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

Taking more than the prescribed amount of CAPAGIN Tablet 10 may cause drowsiness, vomiting, restlessness, rapid heartbeat, confusion, or liver damage. Seek immediate medical attention if overdose is suspected, especially in cases of excessive paracetamol intake.

If you miss a dose of CAPAGIN Tablet 10, take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take two doses together to compensate for the missed dose.
